WHAT is The Young Children’s School?

YCS is a community outreach ministry of the Oak Grove UMC established in 1959.  Our mission is to offer a rich and loving half-day early childhood program which focuses on socialization skills, discovery play based learning, and openness to child-centric emergent curriculum. Our program includes Parent’s Morning Out for ages 12 months through 2's and Preschool for 3's, 4's & 5's. The primary goal of The Oak Grove Young Children’s School is to provide a nurturing, encouraging and supportive atmosphere wherein children can grow developmentally appropriate skills at their own pace.
